Gold Coast shaper Jason Rodd, better known as JR, has released his highly anticipated small-wave machine right in time for summer.

It’s an interesting looking beast, with plenty of width through the nose and a unique rounded diamond tail, also referred to as a coffin tail.  With all this extra width in the tail and nose, the board offers plenty of paddle speed ensuring you won’t go hungry for waves.   The spray jobs are loud and proud too, with the tri-quad fin set up highlighted by the signature Voodoo ‘X’ artwork.

The crew at JR call this a modern day performance fish. It’s designed to be ridden 6 inches shorter than your standard shortboard, and is a perfect addition to ya’ quiver for those peaky summer days when the waves are 1-4 foot.
